This late medieval garment of wool, was worn in the late Middle Ages as a warming overdress. The overdress the late Middle Ages was called Surcot.
Because of the wide armholes dropouts, the outer dress was also popularly known as devil window.
The material is a Wollfilzstoff consisting of 74% wool, 15% polyester, 7% Polyamide and 4% other natural fibers.
