Viking half boots made of high quality waxed, 3 mm thick, nubuck leather.
The boot is based on original finds from Haithabu. The boots are contrary to the findings (thin leather sole) equipped with a rubber sole, as they are non-slip, moisture-resistant and longer lasting.
The ankle width can be adjusted laterally with two leather straps that are closed with leather gags.
Thanks to the waxed layer, the typical patina that forms with fatty leather forms. By wearing the boots, the leather widens slightly and adapts naturally to the shape of the foot and ankle. During use, brightening occurs on the stretch, scratching and kinking. This effect is characteristic (and intentional) for the type of leather used and gives the Viking boot a particularly rustic touch.
The upper is made of 100% nubuck leather.
The rubber sole has a thickness of about 8 mm with a heel of about 8 mm.
