This is a battle-ready replica of a Norman Spangenhelmet from the 11th century.
The helmet is made of 2 mm thick steel. The four parts of the helmet shell are welded and riveted. This processing and the overlap of the individual clips ensure highest robustness and great protection during re-enactment. The helmet has a 3.5 mm thick nasal. The nasal has an angular cross section for extra reinforcement. The helmet has a high quality, adjustable padded liner. The two chin straps are made of cow hide and have a brass buckle.
